In attendance: 1 x Rochford, 2 x Orsett (including water rescue), 1 x Basildon


Firefighters rescued a man from this lorry after the vehicle was trapped in a flood of rising water on Wallasea Island today.

Crews, including our water rescue team from Orsett, were called to Creeksea Ferry Road and managed to get the driver to safety.
