Firefighters rescued a man following a road traffic collision in Benfleet.

Crews were called by police to London Road today at 12.41am after a car was in collision at a roundabout.

Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to free a man who was trapped. He was left in the care of paramedics at 1.45am.
