School Loan Box

The Essex Fire Museum has exciting new School Loan Boxes available to hire during the 2021-21 academic year. Loan boxes reflect the history of the fire service, are available for six weeks and will be delivered and collected by Parcelforce. Our boxes are very versatile and can benefit a variety of topics including history, drama and art.

School Loan Boxes are FREE.

Items in our museum box include:

• Two firefighter helmets
• Sections of an original fire hose
• Two vintage firefighter tunics
• Equipment, old and new
• Photographs
