Essex County Fire and Rescue Service is committed to helping all businesses in the County by providing advice and information on fire safety issues and legislation.

In October 2006, new laws came into force meaning that the way ECFRS does business with its commercial partners have changed dramatically. Business owners are now responsible to the protection of their property and their workforce and we want to work with you to ensure this process is smooth. Among the new responsibilities is a requirement to carry out your own fire risk assessments and create a plan.
